Nestled amongst the mountains in Belgrade Montana is Amaltheia Organic Dairy. The Brown family has been raising goats and crafting artisan goat cheese in their own and operated facility since 2002. Truly dedicated to sustainable farming practices, they minimize waste by using goat by-products and compost to fertilize their vegetables and cheese whey to feed their pigs. The farm has been recognized by EcoStar with an award for their efforts to be a zero emission operation. In addition to amazing cheese and fresh veggies, Amaltheia also grows flowers and hosts you-pick events where the flower fields are open for picking your own bouquets.
