Berryvale Natural Foods Grocery Store is a natural foods store nestled in the town at the base of Mt. Shasta in Northern California. Founded in 1993, it is a family-owned and operated grocery store run by Sean Doyle, whose parents started the market. Doyle understands and embraces the importance of locally grown, organic food and the value of supporting small producers who care for the planet and contribute to the local community – values instilled by his parents’ beliefs.

Today, the market stocks as many locally sourced and produced items as possible, supporting local businesses and growers before reaching further to stock shelves. Doyle embraces the importance of supporting local businesses in a small Northern California town. When they look beyond a 10-mile radius, they choose farmers with whom they can maintain an ongoing, transparent relationship to ensure the integrity of the products they stock. The market also gives back to the community by supporting various causes, including the Mount Shasta Education Foundation, the Siskiyou Land Trust, and more.
