River Valley Co-op is a ccommunity owned food cooperative that strives to provide fresh, local and organically grown groceries, prepared foods, and more. While members receive a discount, membership is not required to shop at the co-op. The River Valley Co-op is invested in sustainability. The store composts and encourages customers to bring their compostable containers back and place them in the co-op’s bins. They have also taken steps to eliminate plastic packaging from the store and replace with compostable, plant based packaging options.
