Chai Wallah is the product of husband and wife team, Tasha and Mark Lemley who source fair trade and organic black tea to craft their signature masala chai. Chai Wallah founders have chosen to focus on traditional, authentic chai, achaar and social justice. Tasha is an avid advocate for the homeless and employs women who have previously experienced homelessness. They also financially support more than a dozen women tea sellers in India through nonprofit, Kiva. The company also reuses their glass jars and composts their waste to reduce their carbon footprint.
