OSEA is a family business that began with a woman who found the healing properties of the sea helped her heal. She wanted to share this with others and began to harvest seaweed from the Long Island Sound to make poultices.  Following in her grandmothers footsteps, company founder Jenefer Palmer, created OSEA to provide organic, non-toxic skincare products using nutrient dense seaweed. OSEA does not test on animals or use animal based ingredients. The company is based in Malibu and the products are made in California.
