Essence Bakery Café is an elegent parisian-style eatery owned and operated by Greek chef, Eugenia Theodosopoulos in Phoenix, Arizona. Eugenia began her culinary career in France studying at Ecole Lenôtre Paris and opening her own french catering company. Upon moving to Arizona, her talents were quickly recognized; she was named Pastry Chef Extraordinaire in 2011 by the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame and her macarons routinely win best in town. She proudly sources from local organic farms, makes all pastries and desserts from scratch and has turned Essence Bakery Café into a community staple. Eugenia also runs an Apprenticeship Program through C-CAP (Careers through Culinary Arts Program) to mentor young aspiring chefs. Stop in for a delicate Parisian lunch and an exquisite macaron.
