Melissa Feveyear, created Terra Bella Flowers, after witnessing first hand all the pesticides used to in conventional flower farming and the harm it was doing to the environment.  She began her career as a florist in an Airstream trailer in downtown Seattle.  In 2006 she purchased another florists shop where she continues to offer only sustainably grown and organic flowers.

She helped create a non-profit marketplace called the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market Cooperative where florists can purchase US grown blooms for their own shops.
